Since then, I’m amazed to see the numerous oils invading the shelve space in retails shops. Most big brands have introduced an oil-based product that promises great results for skin and hair. I’m not going to say if they work or not because I haven’t used any of the products I’m about to discuss, but as I read the list of ingredients, it amazed me how little “real oil” is in the bottle. In this blog, I’m going to list some of the new products out in the market today, and list the ingredients. Before I start, it’s important to know that I found the description of the ingredients at http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/, a great website that I wish I would use more frequently, as it’s an amazing educational tool.

Confused? I never paid much attention to ingredients listed on products, but when I startedLovacado, I began to be more careful with the things that I put on my hair and body. The skin (including our scalp) absorb everything we lather and rub on daily, shouldn’t we be a bit careful and think twice before putting anything that contains all those chemicals listed above? Don’t get caught up on the oil frenzy market trend and fall for those chemical-ridden products. Make sure that if you want to use natural oils for your skin and/or hair care, that whatever you do decided to buy (be Lovacado oil) or any other product, PLEASE READ the ingredient list FIRST. Be an educated consumer and don’t get played by the big name companies.
